Christian and Nicole: Historic Seven Sycamores
It feels so good to slowly refresh this space with new content. By new, I mean last spring, but I will totally get all caught up soon! One of my favorite things about this wedding.. easily.. was Nicoles laced gown. It just hugged her petite frame so effortlessly! Now on top of all that this couple just doesn't take a bad photo. Striking smiles and lots of laughing..a photographers dream! Also, if you haven't checked out Seven Sycamores here in Visalia (technically Ivanhoe) do so now! It is the cutest venue here in the valley, not just for weddings but for anything!! Theyre even renting it out for all types of photoshoots. If you follow my blog, you might have also noticed they have a gorgeous glass barn. Nicole and Christian only used one side of the venue, which is their garden area.. so you won't really see the glass barn here, but this post is the perfect example for just how beautiful your wedding day could be at Seven Sycamores with just their garden venue!
COREY AND MELISSA: HISTORIC SEVEN SYCAMORES WEDDING
This fall wedding was one for the books! From the actual leaf place cards to the exquisite floral design, I was completely swooning when I arrived to see all the goodness.
Melissa and Corey hired the talented Katie Kalendar of Ribbon and Leaf Events to design and execute their vision of a an elegant meets rustic fall wedding, so it was no surprise to me that every detail from this wedding was carefully articulated and gave you a warm, cozy fall vibe.Historic Seven Sycamores has the most gorgeous overgrown trees all over their ground and Katie used the leaves from the venue, which had already fallen during the changing season, and teamed up with The Scribble Shoppe t to add some beautiful calligraphy to them with each guests' name as their place card. My favorite thing Ive seen to date. Rustic Roots blew us away with the brides bouquet along with the ceremony and reception floral design. Tres Bien provided guests with a wonderful and delicious display of a burger buffet (so yummy!) and all guests enjoyed sweet treats from the ever so talented Goodies Cookies and Cakes!
This was a wedding to remember and I'm so excited to share it here with you all!

Mario and Julia | Victorian Gardens Visalia Wedding Day
An exquisitely designed wedding from start to finish. I will try my best to link all of the creative vendors that teamed up to make this day the dream it was. First Look and Reception site was at Victorian Gardens in Visalia, Ca. Ceremony was held at St. Aloysius in Tulare, Ca. Flowers were elegantly put together by Visalia popular Sweet Memories florist. Music was provided by AMC events and catering was mastered by Fugazzis of Visalia. This wedding was photographed by myself and my side shooter, Theresa. xo Please feel free to message or comment if you have any questions regarding a wedding day!
Pace and Allison
Such a lovely winter wedding at Historic Seven Sycamores. You can almost always guarantee that any wedding they host will be over the top, but this particular one was something of a different feel. Winter is the season that gets the least amount of wedding bookings, people are intimidated by the cold and unpredicted weather, but here in the valley it is simply one of my favorites.Allison did a great job taking into account what her guests might feel throughout her wedding day as she had a basket of hand warmers at the welcome table, provided Kuppa Joy coffee station for a complimentary and warm beverage to sip on, as well as having the entire reception event inside SS's one of a kind glass barn. This day was simply designed to perfection.. the color scheme alone will leave you inspired. It was truly a pleasure.

JACE & MONICA
You really cannot go wrong when your wedding is being held at Seven Sycamores Ranch. The character and charm of that place is just unmatched. Everyone loves the glass barn, but all the overgrown greenery is probably my favorite part. It seems like anywhere you turn there is a photo opportunity. Kim Rico and her eye for design really made that venue come to life. If you haven't heard of her, check out her Insta at Drops of Honey Design (linked at the end of post). And apparently Kim and Monica teaming up only creates perfection! Monica did not let one detail of her wedding go to waste. The little cow table numbers cut out by her father-in-law, the milk bar for guests to enjoy with their (Max's Dessert Company) desserts, and the head table backdrop were just a few of my personal favorites. An array of pinks, plums, mauve, and greenery were found in the floral design, designed by the ever so talented Sweet Memories. It was the perfect combo of feminine and sophistication. The bouquets really popped next to the soft pastels the bridesmaids wore!Monica's wedding gown was the first time I had ever witnessed the uniqueness of a two-piece. She really wanted her gown to reflect her laid-back kinda style.. where simplicity can in fact make a statement. The bottom tule moved with her so effortlessly and she had just enough skin barred to show off her slim figure and glowing skin!I am so happy for these two, but I am really going to miss all the fun we had documenting their special day. From the engagement shoot (which made the cover of Enjoy magazines February 2017 issue!!) to their first evening as husband and wife. Let's hope their future family sessions will be just as beautiful, although that is a lot to live up to! ;)Vendors listed at the bottom of this post.Venue: Historic Seven Sycamores RanchDesign and Planner: Drops of Honey by Kim RicoCaterer: Tres BienVideo: Agape FilmsDJ: Toast & Bells (Live singing by Rachelle of Toast and Bells)Florist: Sweet MemoriesRentals: Walker Lewis and Letter and Grain (Farm Tables)Baker: Max's Bakery
RIBBON AND LEAF
Good afternoon!A few months ago the ever so talented Katie Kalender came to me with a styled shoot concept that she was planning. As she has worked along side various wedding teams as well as very popular local venues, she is just getting started with her very own event designing company called Ribbon & Leaf Events. Guys, if you are looking for someone to help you coordinate, design, and keep your entire wedding day on task, you must give Katie a call! She put together this entire concept and day for all of us lucky vendors, and I'm pretty sure I can speak for everyone when I say- book her now. She's going to rock this central valley with her talent and creativity! The team of vendors who made this day happen are listed at the end of this post! Just click their names to be sent to their website :)Here are all the vendors who worked hard and put their talent to use for this day:Design/Styling & Coordination: Ribbon & LeafPhotographer: Simply SmithVideographer: Matrimony MediaVenue: The Gardens in Tulare, CAFlowers: Brown Bunny FlowersCalligraphy: Willemina TypographyModels: Seth and Kara MehrtenHair: Kyli FraunheimMakeup: Cass MakeupJewelry: Pressed Rose Jewelry Co.Cake: Bebe CakesDress: Grace Loves LaceFarmhouse Table: Letter and GrainTabletop and furniture rentals: Party PleasersRing box: The Mrs. Box
BRENT + CAITLIN
Guys. This is a really big deal that I have this wedding up on my blog.. because... I photographed it in May! I knew I needed to share it but things just get crazy sometimes. Soooo now is the time to finally share with you all a little highlight post of what the Wickstrom wedding was like!Brent and Caitlin began their day separately, with friends, as most couples do. They met for their First Look at the Fernandes Residence not too far from where Cait and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Their had a beautiful catholic ceremony at St. Aloysius in Tulare and ended their day at Caitlin's family dairy where they filled a tent with almost 400 guests! It was so gorgeous. You'll definitely feel the party vibe that was going on that night, ties and all. ;)I hope when you scroll through this post you relive the day with me, because it was perfection.
MARK + AMY

MATT + CASSIDY | LAGO GIUSSEPES WINERY WEDDING DAY
So, apparently summer break is over and this girl is a little behind in blog posting. The good news, however, is that I get to kick it off with a brand spankin' new wedding with probably one of the most gorgeous couples AND gorgeous weddings I've ever photographed. Cassidy was a bridesmaid in another beautiful wedding at Wolf Lakes I lucked out in documenting (Hi, Kait!) so when she asked me to photograph her big day, I was floored! So Lurissa and I hopped in the car at 8:30am on August 20th and took the drive to Lago Giussepes Winery in Templeton, Ca.. and boy, were we in for some goodness. Here is just a highlight of what the Bell wedding looked like!
